Unfortunately, basically all of these are written or illustrated by white authors; I found it very difficult to find adult coloring books by authors of color. Hit me up on Twitter if you know of any more!

All is Bright: A Devotional Journey to Color Your Way to Christmas by Nancy Guthrie, Illustrated by Lizzie Preston

A Million Christmas Cats: Festive Felines to Color by John Bigwood
Do I even need to say what’s amazing about this book? It’s exactly what it sounds like: cats in wintery scarves drive a train full of gifts; cats visit a Christmas market or ice skate across the page; very round fat cat ornaments hang on a tree. This book is very, very fun, and the designs cover a wide range of holiday scenes that are very entertaining.
The Magical Christmas by Lizzie Mary Cullen
This book is wondrously complex in its flowing designs, and will keep any fan of adult coloring books busy for months. There are 65 designs that include birds nestled in holly branches and scenes from The Nutcracker. Cullen’s designs are flowing, curving, and full of swirls and spirals.
Holiday Dogs Coloring Book by Anna Nadler
The designs in this book are simple and fun: dogs in holiday sweaters, posing adorably. A good book for adults who are just getting into the coloring trend and might be intimidated by the wild details of some other books, this one is easy and fun.
The Night Voyage: A Magical Adventure and Coloring Book by Daria Song
The Night Voyage doesn’t just offer up gorgeous illustrations: it tells a magical holiday story. When a toy train conductor comes to life, a little girl sets sail on a magical adventure to give gifts all around the world. The illustrations are intricate, fantastic, and full of magic.
Johanna’s Christmas: A Festive Coloring Book for Adults by Johanna Basford
Basford has been the best-known coloring book artist for a while: her designs are classic. Her adult coloring book for Christmas is full of intricate designs, ranging from gingerbread houses to ornaments to a polar bear laden with gifts. And this book features perforated pages, with illustrations on a single side, to make it possible to pull them out—and possibly gift them! These are gorgeous holiday cards for you to color in and give, and they come with envelopes that match and stickers to close the envelope with! Handy and fun, the illustrations of Rebecca Jones are unique in the world of Christmas coloring books, featuring cute animals and a range of difficulties in the designs.
